Good news for residents and travelers in New Zealand! The Te Huia train service has expanded its route to include a new stop at Pukekohe Station. This addition is sure to enhance connectivity within the public transport network, offering residents more convenient travel options.

Te Huia will begin stopping at Pukekohe starting next February, providing connections to the Auckland Transport network and direct travel to Auckland city center. This stop will be added to the Waikato-Auckland passenger rail service from Monday, February 10, 2025. This means Te Huia will discontinue its service at Papakura Station, starting on February 8, 2025, at 6:21 PM, traveling south to Hamilton.
